Are You Ready for the 4th of July?
I think most of us will be in swimsuits tomorrow while eating and drinking unhealthy
food all day.
We are allowed to do that every now and again, so it’s okay! Though, I might feel
a bit guilty…
Here’s what I plan to do before I enjoy some beer and a burger: A quick workout.
Sometimes quick workouts let us feel better about ourselves before we go out and
indulge ourselves. I have a friend who would always do ten pushups right before he
had to go on a date. I use to laugh at him for doing his ten little pushups, but here I
am doing the same thing!
I find that doing a quick workout before I know I’m going to eat unhealthy foods,
look better in my dress I plan to wear, or meet up with my husband for dinner seems
to help me.
Sure, it is probably all in my head, but isn’t that the point? I find that small, quick
workouts can really give my confidence a boost when I might need it a little more
than usual.
